Hi all,

Looking at getting something decent to get the bike in the air for cleaning etc. I have a rear paddock stand but It's a bit hair raising trying to put the Busa up on it with the missus holding onto the bike. Shocked

Looking around ABBA do a superbike stand here http://www.abbastands.co.uk/ that can be used with only one person operating it, seems to get good reviews......anyone here using one or seen one in action??

Ohh and Dazman it's not the same people you used to dance to on a Saturday night mate Laughing Laughing

I saw you ask about them, but thought of all the negative issues with a fully faired bike!!!

So how does it work with the Busa?? It just occured that me that I'd have to strip the fairing off everytime I wanted to use it!!

I use a set of front and rear stands, but often I have wanted to remove or work on the forks which you can't do!! Investing in a headstock stand just seems like a further expense!!!!

How much would it set me back????

Oh and as for Dazman and his love of ABBA!! Have you seen his collection!! No.... Don't get him started.......... you'll never get away!!!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Same as in the video, no need to remove anything, Busa is still as heavy as hell but I can do it on my own no probs Very Happy

Just the stand works out around £100 (inc. delivery) with the adapters for your bike, add an extra 40 quid or so and you can have the front lift aswell to get both wheels off the ground.

Someone told me Dazman listens to Dancing Queen all the time through his radio! Very Happy

Did you.........just........say????????????

Dazman's a dancing, queen!!!! No........that'll be me then!!! pale pale pale

If I had paid attention I would have seen the video!!! Now, thinking about it for 140 notes, I would have everything I needed and saved myself a wedge of cash!!! And saved myself the agro of suspending the headstock from the garage joists to remove the forks!!! Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Nice find for a do it all lift!!

That's a result on your own, what with the weight of the Busa!!!

I have kittens sometimes getting mine up on the rear paddock stand!! Standing on it and hoping the swing arm is equally supported so that it comes up without falling off!!!! Maybe time to invest in something a little safer!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
